Modern Geometric House Card shows a flat, geometric home in warm terracotta, with a black roof and a sage-green side wall. The word CONGRATS, set in bold capitals, tells you right away what the card is for. It is a simple way to mark a move, and it suits anyone who just got their keys.
Ships with a kraft envelope; envelope color in photo may vary.
The artwork explained
The main subject is a stylized house built from simple blocks of color. The terracotta front holds a cream door, while the sage-green side has two small square windows. A black slanted roof crowns the whole structure, giving it a clean, modern silhouette.
A large orange sun floats above the roof on the left, balancing the composition. Beside the house, a leafy plant with sage-green leaves rises from a dark half-round bowl. Below and to the right, an orange key lies on the page, a small object that carries the idea of a new home.
The lettering is a heavy sans-serif in dark charcoal, placed at the bottom of the card. It anchors the bright shapes above it. Together the house, sun, plant and key make one tidy picture of settling in somewhere new.
Who it suits best
You will probably notice the house and the key first, then the warm terracotta and sage tones that make the card feel calm. The style appeals to people who like modern, minimal décor and clean shapes.
This card works well for a friend who just bought their first apartment or a coworker who moved to a bigger place. A family moving into a rental, or a couple settling into their first shared home, will also enjoy the simple, warm message.
It also fits someone who loves plants, design or quiet, understated greetings. The plant in the scene gives it a gentle, growing feeling that suits a fresh start.
When it fits
A housewarming party is the obvious moment for this card. Tuck it in with a small gift, or leave it on the counter for the host to find when guests arrive.
It also fits a moving day, when a note on the new doorstep can make a long day feel a little lighter. A note to a friend who just closed on a house is another natural choice.
If you want to send something warm without much wording, this card says what it needs to in one bold line.
- What does the key and potted plant add to the scene?
- The orange key sits beside the house and points straight to the idea of getting the keys to a new place. The potted plant on the left adds a sense of growth and a fresh start. Together with the terracotta house, they tell the story of settling in without any extra words.
- Who is this card best suited for?
- This card suits anyone who just moved into a new home, whether that is a first apartment, a family house or a couple's first shared place. It also works for friends who love modern, minimal design, since the clean geometric shapes and calm terracotta and sage colors match that taste.
- What occasions work well with this card?
- A housewarming party, a moving day, or a note sent after someone closes on a house are the most natural fits. It also works as a quiet note for a coworker or relative who just relocated. The short CONGRATS line keeps the message warm and simple for any of these moments.
