Hope you're already making Card for a New Home, Yellow House Design

Hope you're already making happy new memories in your wonderful new home, and this card holds that wish on a sunny yellow cottage. The printed line tells the new homeowner that the good times have started already, which is exactly what you hope for someone who just got the keys. It is a gentle way to say welcome, and it suits the friend who is still unpacking boxes.

Ships with a kraft envelope; envelope color in photo may vary.

What the print says

A painted yellow cottage sits on a grassy hill, with a deep red door and a small blue-framed window facing the front. The roof is red and sharp, and a white picket fence runs along the lawn in front of it. Beside the house a full green tree spreads its branches, its trunk brown and sturdy. A pale yellow sun glows in the upper left corner, its rays drawn in loose, crayon-like strokes.

The words are set in dark, lowercase script across the top right, reading Hope you're already making happy new memories in your wonderful new home. The phrase new home is larger and bolder, set just above the roof line so it stands out. Small red hearts float near the house and the tree, adding warmth without crowding the scene. Pink and yellow flowers dot the grass at the bottom, so the whole picture feels like a spring afternoon in a storybook.

Who sees themselves in it

The people who love this design are the ones who have just moved, or who are about to. A first-time homeowner will recognize the front door, the fence and the tree they hope to plant in their own yard. Renters in a new apartment often smile at the cottage too, because it stands for the home they are building.

This card is a fit for friends, neighbors and coworkers who have been talking about the move for weeks. It is also a good choice for couples and for anyone who loves a cozy, hand-painted look. You will find it easy to send to someone whose new place is still full of boxes.

Meant as a gift

Send this card for a housewarming party, a first visit to the new place, or a quiet moment once the furniture is finally in the right spot. It fits well with a small houseplant, a candle or a bag of coffee for the kitchen. The bright cottage reads as hopeful and fresh, which matches the feeling of starting over.

The card comes in one natural color, and it is a greeting card style sent with an envelope. Tuck a short handwritten note inside, and the scene becomes a memory your friend keeps on the fridge.
