Cat Lover Congratulations Card: Purrfect for Your Big Moment

Cat Lover Congratulations Card shows “So Purrroud of you!” across the top of a grey cat with a white chest, sitting among bright yellow stars. The first purr is stretched into a playful pun, and a yellow underline gives it extra bounce. It is a cheerful way to tell someone their hard work paid off, especially if they share a home with a cat or simply adore the animal.

Ships with a kraft envelope; envelope color in photo may vary.

What the print says

The centerpiece is a calm grey cat sitting upright, its tail curling up beside it and a white patch down its chest. Its whiskers stretch out on either side of a small smiling face, and it looks quite pleased with itself. Above it, a ring of yellow stars frames the animal, with a few smaller stars scattered around the edges to add sparkle.

The lettering is the real joke. Black, hand-drawn letters spell out “So Purrroud of you!”, with the word purr stretched out and the rest of the word proud set in a larger script. A short yellow stroke sits beneath the stretched word, drawing your eye straight to the pun. The style is soft and simple, with clean lines and plenty of white space around the words.

The design belongs to the world of cat lovers, the people who talk to their pets like family and can't resist a good cat pun. It suggests a cat who is quietly proud of its own achievements, which makes the picture feel like a little joke you share with the animal. Every element works together, so the card reads as one cheerful scene rather than a list of separate pieces.

Who sees themselves in it

You will likely be sending this to someone who already has a cat on the sofa and a few cat mugs in the cupboard. They are the first to notice the pun and the first to laugh at the smug little grey cat. The card speaks directly to their everyday life, where the cat is part of every celebration.

Say you are congratulating a friend who just finished her exams. She opens the card, reads “So Purrroud of you!”, and immediately thinks of her cat curled up beside her revision notes. The joke gives her a reason to smile before she even reads your message.

The moment it really gets used is the kitchen table or the office desk, where the card sits propped up for a few days as a reminder of the good news. Someone who loves cats will keep glancing at it and grinning each time.

Meant as a gift

This card suits a new job, a passed driving test, exam results or any small win worth noticing. It is easy to pick up for a colleague, a sibling or a friend who would rather laugh than receive something formal. A short handwritten note inside makes the moment feel personal.

The card is a quick way to celebrate without making a fuss. Hand it over with a cup of tea, and watch the pun land. It is the kind of card that gets pinned to a fridge or propped on a windowsill, where the grey cat keeps its quiet pride on display.
