New Home Cat Card shows a grey cat sitting proudly in an open cardboard box, with the words “Happy New Home” written in loose black handwriting above. The line is a warm nod to moving day, and the cat seems perfectly content with the chaos. It suits anyone who has just unpacked their first boxes, or a friend who loves cats as much as a fresh start.
Ships with a kraft envelope; envelope color in photo may vary.
The grey cat, box, and handwritten lettering
The cat sits upright in the middle of the card, its dark grey body set against a white chest and paws that peek over the cardboard edge. Its whiskers stretch out wide and its tail curls up the side of the box, which tilts open like it has just been unpacked. Beside the box sit a small clay pot, a sprig of green leaves, and a pale vase with blue markings, all hinting at the small chores of settling in. The lettering is drawn in a loose, looping hand that feels personal and casual. The whole scene reads like a friend sketched it on the spot, which suits a cat who has clearly decided this box belongs to him.
Friends and family who share a home with cats
You will notice the cat first, then the way it has taken over the box as if it were a throne. The exact phrase New Home Cat Card works best for someone who has just moved in with a cat, or who keeps one close by while they unpack. Imagine handing it to a friend on moving day, when the boxes are still stacked and the cat has already claimed the cleanest one. It is a card that makes them smile before they even read the words.
Housewarming gifts and moving-in moments
This card fits a housewarming visit, a first apartment, or a family move where a cat is part of the household. Tuck it into a basket with a plant or a small treat for a warm, simple gift. Pin it on the fridge once the boxes are gone, and it becomes a reminder of the day the cat stole the show. Available in the greeting card style and the natural color.
- What does the cat in the box say about moving?
- The cat sitting in the open cardboard box says that moving day is more fun when a pet is part of it. The handwritten “Happy New Home” lettering adds a warm welcome. Together they show the playful side of settling in, when the box feels more exciting than the furniture and the cat has already made itself at home.
- Who is this card best suited for?
- This card suits anyone who has just moved in with a cat, or a friend who keeps one close by. It works especially well for cat lovers who have unpacked their first boxes. The grey cat in the box is an easy way to celebrate their new place with someone who appreciates a playful pet.
- What makes this design different from other housewarming cards?
- Most housewarming cards show a house or a key, but this one puts a grey cat in an open cardboard box at the center. The loose, looping handwriting and the small clay pot and plant beside the box make the scene feel sketched and personal. The cat takes over the moving day story in a way that feels fresh.
