Businessman with Bird Card: A Cartoon for a New Home

Businessman with Bird Card shows a cartoon man in a blue suit with a red striped tie, looking calm while a small yellow bird perches on top of his head. There is no printed line on the design, so the humor comes from the picture alone. You will notice the quiet absurdity right away, and it is a lighthearted way to say welcome to your new place.

Ships with a kraft envelope; envelope color in photo may vary.

What the design shows

The main figure is a cartoon man with round glasses, a neat blue suit and a red tie with dark stripes. He stands straight against a bright red background, which makes the blue of his outfit pop. His expression is calm and a little amused, as if he has accepted the bird without any fuss. The bird itself is small and yellow, with a tiny beak, and it sits right on the top of his head. A brown leather briefcase hangs from one hand, adding a touch of everyday office life to the scene. The whole picture is simple and bold, with clean lines and flat colors that give it a retro cartoon feel.

Who it was made for

You will likely find this card appeals most to people who enjoy dry, slightly silly humor. A friend who has just signed a lease, a coworker who finally moved across town, or a relative settling into a first apartment may all smile at the sight of a sensible businessman with a bird on his head. The image reads as a gentle comment on the small surprises of starting over. When you send it with a note reading good luck in the new place, the picture does the rest.

As a gift and every day

This card works well for a housewarming party, a welcome gift after a move or a simple congratulations on a new job that comes with a new desk. You might tuck it in with a plant or a bottle of something nice. It is available in the natural color option, so it fits easily into a card rack or a gift bag.
