Housewarming Bird Card: A Cheerful Blue Bird for Your New Nest

Housewarming Bird Card shows a singing blue bird perched in its woven nest, with the printed words Congratulations On Your New Nest across the top. The joke is simple: a new home is a new nest, and this little bird is clearly thrilled about it. It suits anyone who has just moved into a first apartment, a family house or a cozy cottage and wants a card that feels as warm as the sunlit leaves in the picture.

Ships with a kraft envelope; envelope color in photo may vary.

What the design shows

The main subject is a round, cartoon blue bird with its eyes squeezed shut and its beak wide open, caught mid-song. Its feathers shift from deep blue on the head and wings to soft cream on the chest, giving it a gentle, friendly look. The bird sits in a nest of loose golden twigs that rests on a thick branch, and that branch runs diagonally across the lower part of the picture.

Around the bird, layers of bright green leaves fill the background, with sunlight breaking through in soft patches. The lighting gives the whole scene a warm, early-morning feeling that suits a fresh start. The lettering across the top is bold, rounded and blue, with a light shadow that lifts it off the leafy background so the words stay easy to read.

The bird and its nest make the joke visible at a glance. Anyone who has ever moved into a new space will recognize the pleasure of finding a comfortable spot to settle, and this picture shows that feeling as a small creature celebrating its perfect home.

Who it was made for

You will likely notice the joyful bird first, then read the message and smile at the connection between the nest and the new place. The card is built for people who have just moved, whether that means a first apartment, a rented flat or a house they bought after years of looking.

The exact phrase Housewarming Bird Card fits perfectly into the moments when a friend invites you over for the first time. You can bring it along with a bottle of something nice, or simply drop it in the mail a few days after the moving boxes are finally flattened.

It also suits relatives, coworkers and neighbors who are settling into a new street. The bright, friendly tone works for almost anyone who has taken the leap to a new address.

As a gift and every day

This card works well for a housewarming party, a move-in weekend or a quiet first evening in a new place. Pair it with a plant or a small kitchen treat, and the bird's cheerful song becomes part of the welcome.

You can also keep the moment going after the card is opened. Stand it on a windowsill or a shelf, where the blue bird can keep singing over the first cups of coffee in the new kitchen. It is available as a Greeting Card in a Natural color option.
