Watercolor Cozy House Card shows a painted cottage and the words HAPPY NEW HOME, a message that greets anyone stepping into a fresh start. The cottage is charming and the wish is plain, which is exactly what a new home deserves. It is for friends, relatives and coworkers who have just moved in.
Ships with a kraft envelope; envelope color in photo may vary.
How the design is put together
A watercolor cottage sits at the center of the card, with a pointed roof, a rounded tower and a small balcony wrapped in a railing. Soft windows show tiny interiors, and flower pots sit beside the front door. Strings of orange and blue bunting stretch across the top edge, while a cluster of pale balloons floats up from the roof. Light blue clouds drift in the open sky above. The printed words HAPPY NEW HOME run along the bottom in warm brown capitals, with small pink sparkles on each side. Together the colors stay soft and sunny, and every element points back to the idea of arriving somewhere new and settling in.
Who will enjoy it
People who have just bought a first place, moved to a new city or finally found a rental they love will notice the cottage right away. You can send it to a friend who has just closed on a house, a sibling who has relocated for work, or a coworker who is building a life in a new neighborhood. Parents helping a grown child set up a first apartment often want a card with a gentle tone, and this one suits that moment well.
For gifting
This card fits neatly into a housewarming gift, tucked under a plant or a bag of coffee for the kitchen. Give it on move-in day with a box of cookies, or mail it a week after the boxes are unpacked, when the house finally feels like home. A quiet note on the back is a lovely way to finish the message.
- What does the HAPPY NEW HOME message mean on this card?
- The printed words HAPPY NEW HOME are a direct, warm wish for someone who has just moved in. Paired with the painted cottage, bunting and balloons, the card reads as a celebration of a fresh start rather than a joke, so it works for a first home, a relocation or a long-awaited move.
- Who is this new home card best suited for?
- It suits friends, siblings, parents of grown children and coworkers who have just bought or rented a place. Because the cottage is cheerful and the wording is simple, it fits people of many ages and works well when you want to congratulate someone without writing a long letter.
- When is a good time to send this card?
- Send it on move-in day, at a housewarming visit, or a week or two after the boxes are unpacked. Many people enjoy receiving it once the house has started to feel like home, so the timing of the wish lands naturally on the new owner or renter.
