Round of Paws Card: Five Cat Paws for Good News

Round of Paws Card shows five cat paws in different coats, with a typewritten joke beneath them that says “this calls fora round of a paws.” It is a playful way to celebrate good news, and the paws do the toasting for you. It is made for the cat lover in your life who has just landed a new job or reached a milestone worth marking.

Ships with a kraft envelope; envelope color in photo may vary.

The design in detail

Five cat paws reach down from the top edge of the card, each one a different color. The left paw is sandy beige with pale patches, the next is black with a white toe bean and white toes, and the third is golden orange with a dark brown heart pad. The fourth paw is a warm rusty brown with a pink pad, and the fifth is bright yellow with soft cream stripes. Every paw has its own pattern, so the row reads like a group of cats with very different personalities.

The lettering sits centered below the paws in a plain typewriter face. It is set in lowercase with a small line break after “fora,” which gives the phrase a casual, hand-typed feel. The white background keeps the colors bright and lets the paws stand out. The whole layout is simple, so the joke lands the moment you see it. Each paw is set against the card so the viewer reads the row first and the words second.

The design belongs to the world of cat owners who notice every paw print on the kitchen floor. The phrase is a nod to the custom of buying a round of drinks for friends when good news arrives, but the paws are the ones doing the buying. It is a gentle way to say that your cat would cheer you on if they could.

When it gets used

The people who will enjoy this card most are cat owners who treat their pets as members of the household. A friend who keeps a tabby, a coworker with a black and white cat at home, or a relative who posts pictures of their orange cat every week will recognize the paws right away. The card speaks their language without needing a long explanation.

You might slip Round of Paws Card into an envelope on a new hire's first morning, or leave it on a desk when a colleague starts a fresh role. It also fits a graduation, a promotion or a finished certification, when friends want to mark the moment with a small, cheerful message. The simple card makes it easy to write a line or two inside before you hand it over.
