Retirement Time for Card: Travel, Dreams and Sunshine

Retirement Time for Card shows a bright watercolor “Happy Retirement” headline, and the words “Now it's time for the things that truly matter” sit beneath it. The printed list, with its vertical “TIME FOR” banner, reads like a short wish list for the next stage of life. It says that the working years are wrapping up and the best parts are just beginning, and it lets the reader feel the excitement of a fresh start.

Ships with a kraft envelope; envelope color in photo may vary.

The print at a glance

The top of the card is lettered in a flowing blue-to-orange brush script that reads “Happy Retirement” with a soft watercolor wash behind it. Below, a centered line of teal text introduces the list. On the left, a tall rainbow banner spells out “TIME FOR” in bold letters, running from the bottom of the card up toward the middle. To its right, eight words stack in teal type, each one paired with a small line illustration. You will see a compass with a rising arrow beside Travel, a sunrise over an open book beside Dreams, and a pair of mountains with a winding path beside Adventures. Sunny rays, a rising sun and a sprig of leaves appear alongside Sunshine. Soft pastel shapes in mint, yellow and coral fill the gaps and frame the lettering, giving the whole design a light and hopeful look.

Who it is for

You will find this card most useful when you are writing to a coworker, a supervisor or a friend who has just stepped away from a long career. The list of words gives you an easy way to show that you understand what matters most to someone at this stage, whether that is time for travel, time to pursue a dream or simply time to enjoy quiet days. It suits a team that wants to sign one card together, since the bright design leaves plenty of room for handwritten notes around the edges.

Occasions to use it

This card fits neatly into a farewell lunch, a last-day office gathering or a retirement party where guests sign a card for the guest of honor. It also works well for a family celebration, a neighbor's send-off or a note mailed a few days before the big date so the recipient can read it at home. Choose it when you want a cheerful, forward-looking message that celebrates the next chapter rather than only the last one.
