The design in detail

The heart of the card is the large word RETIREMENT, built from letters in mixed colors and patterns, with the phrase ENJOY ON YOUR above it. Around it float speech bubbles that read RETIRED AND ADMIRED, permanent vacation see ya and you look too young to retire. A striped cat stretches out across the upper left, while a hot air balloon and a burst of fireworks fill the right side. Smaller stickers say SIT BACK AND RELAX, NO MORE MONDAYS and BYEEE TAKE IT EASY, so the page reads like a scrapbook of farewell wishes. The lettering varies from bubbly to blocky, and every sticker is drawn in soft, cheerful colors that keep the whole collage feeling light.

When it gets used

A coworker who is hanging up the badge will probably notice the first line, RETIRED AND ADMIRED, before anything else. Someone reading this card will get the joke about the permanent vacation right away, and a line like no more Mondays will land with anyone who has ever dreaded a Monday morning. This is the kind of card that gets passed around the break room, with each person adding a note in the empty space between the stickers. It works well for a coworker who has spent years on the job and now wants a lighter week.

Good occasions

The obvious moment is a farewell lunch or a last-day send-off, when the team gathers to say goodbye. It also fits a retirement party, a leaving card from a department, or a simple note to a friend who has just finished their final shift. Pick the natural colored card for a clean look, and let the stickers do the talking.
