Hooray On Your New Card: Frog on a Lily Pad Housewarming Card

Hooray On Your New Card shows a plump green frog perched on a lily pad, with the words “Hooray on your new pad!” written across the yellow sky above it. The joke is a playful nod to the lily pad and to a fresh place to call home, so the pun lands with a smile. It was made for the friend, relative or coworker who just moved into a new place and deserves a cheerful welcome.

Ships with a kraft envelope; envelope color in photo may vary.

The artwork explained

The frog sits at the center of the card, grinning with bright round eyes and a relaxed, content posture. Two broad green lily pads spread beneath it, their soft shading giving the scene depth and a gentle sense of being afloat. The black hand-lettered text curves across the top, with “Hooray on your new” arching above the word “pad!”, the exclamation adding energy to the message. The sunny yellow background makes the green frog pop, so the whole scene reads clearly from a distance. The cartoon style is simple and warm, the sort of drawing that feels friendly rather than silly. Together the frog, the pads and the lettering tell one cheerful story about settling into a new spot.

Who it suits best

The first thing most people notice is the frog’s content little smile, followed closely by the pun in the lettering. This card suits someone who enjoys a gentle joke and a bit of cartoon charm. It works well for a friend who has just moved into a first apartment, a sibling who finally bought a house, or a coworker who has relocated. You might send it to someone who loves frogs or nature-themed humor, since the lily pad gives the card a fun, woodland feel. It also fits people who like cards that are bright and easy to read at a glance.

When it fits

This card is a natural choice for a housewarming gift, where a friendly message helps a new home feel welcoming. It also works well as a note tucked into a box of moving supplies, or as a card to celebrate a first night in a new place. Many people like to pin cards like this on a fridge or shelf as a small reminder of the move. Send it a few days after the move so the joke still feels fresh and timely.
