What the design tells
A weathered brown suitcase sits centrally beneath flowing calligraphy that reads "Bon Voyage" in teal and coral ink. Delicate butterflies hover near the lettering while tropical palm fronds and pink blossoms frame the luggage from behind. A straw sun hat rests beside a folded world map and a retro silver camera, suggesting a classic era of exploration. The background features vertical watercolor washes in soft peach and blue, creating a dreamy, nostalgic atmosphere. This composition combines travel essentials with artistic flair to evoke the romance of planning a journey.
People who will use it
Friends and family members who are packing for a major trip will notice the vintage aesthetic immediately. A Farewell Travel Card is perfect for writing a note when a coworker is moving abroad or a partner is heading off on a solo expedition. You might slip this into a suitcase tag holder or leave it on a nightstand right before they head to the airport. It validates their excitement while offering a sentimental touch for the people staying behind.
A small gift idea
Pair this card with a small travel accessory like a luggage tag or a notebook for your own use. Hand it over during a farewell lunch or tuck it inside a passport cover before boarding. The combination of the illustrated gear and the specific wish for memories makes it feel personal rather than generic. It turns a simple goodbye into a keepsake they can read again once they arrive at their destination.
