Bon Voyage Travel Card shows a small airplane flying over a globe, with “ADVENTURE AWAITS!” printed above it and “HAVE THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE” below. The dotted line behind the plane suggests a route already traced across the world, and the lettering tells the traveler exactly what lies ahead. It is made for the friend or relative who is about to head off somewhere new.
Ships with a kraft envelope; envelope color in photo may vary.
Behind the design: the globe, plane, and printed phrases
A round globe sits at the center of the card, drawn in soft teal and green with a few small clouds drifting near its edges. A white airplane with a thin red stripe banks across it, nose pointing toward the right. A row of black dots trails behind the plane, like a flight path someone has sketched on the map. Small hand-lettered notes reading “SAFE TRAVELS” and “BON VOYAGE” sit on either side, and bold capital letters frame the top and bottom. Together the pieces read as a cheerful doodle of a trip about to begin.
Who gets the joke: travelers and the people who wave them off
The first thing most people notice is the plane tracing its path around the globe, which makes the card feel like a sendoff at the airport gate. Anyone who has packed a suitcase for a long trip, or watched a friend roll out the door with a passport in hand, will recognize the moment. Bon Voyage Travel Card works for a friend going abroad, a relative heading off on a vacation, or a coworker starting a new chapter overseas.
Gift and choice: moments to give it
Give this card the week before a trip, a move to another country or a long-planned holiday. It also fits a going-away party or a surprise envelope tucked into a suitcase. You may choose it in the natural color shown here, which keeps the focus on the bright airplane and the globe.
- What do the printed words on this card mean?
- “ADVENTURE AWAITS!” tells the traveler that something new is waiting at the destination. “HAVE THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE” wishes them a great trip. Together with “SAFE TRAVELS” and “BON VOYAGE,” the lines form a warm, cheerful sendoff that fits anyone heading off on a journey.
- Who is this travel card best suited for?
- The card suits a friend, relative or coworker who is leaving for a trip, a move abroad or a long vacation. Because the airplane and globe are simple and bright, it works equally well for a first-time traveler or a seasoned flyer who loves seeing the world.
- When is a good time to give this card?
- Give it the week before a holiday, a relocation or a big trip. It also works well at a going-away party, tucked into a suitcase or handed over at the airport. The dotted flight path makes it an especially fitting message just before someone boards.
