Farewell Retirement Card shows A WISE MAN ONCE SAID I’M OUTTA HERE, and AND HE LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER, a joke that turns a grand saying into a cheerful goodbye. The line plays on the idea of a wise man making a dramatic exit, and it lands best for someone ready to leave the old routine behind. It is made for the people who will laugh at the swagger of it.

What the design shows
The centerpiece is a teal vintage convertible drawn with a soft cream top that is folded back. Its rounded body, chrome bumper and whitewall tires give it a classic look. Thin motion lines trail behind the rear, so the car seems to be pulling away at speed. The wording sits above and below the car in bold teal capitals, with the first line set in a curve. The artwork is simple and bright, with no extra clutter, so the car and the words carry the joke together. Everything about the picture points toward someone leaving in style.
Who it was made for
You will likely find this card most fun for a boss, uncle, dad or coworker who has spent years at the same desk and is now stepping away. People who love classic cars will spot the vintage convertible right away and smile at the open-road feeling. Someone who enjoys a dry, playful sense of humor will catch the gap between the lofty first line and the simple exit. It suits a friend who always talked about the next adventure and is finally starting it.
As a gift and every day
This card fits retirement parties, last days in the office and quiet send-offs before a long vacation. Pair it with a small gift, such as a road map or a keychain, for an extra touch of fun. Keep it on the desk of the person leaving so the car keeps reminding them of the next chapter. Its warm teal color and light humor make it a lasting reminder that the best part of the journey is still ahead.
