Drink Plenty of Fluids Card shows a cartoon dog heading toward an open toilet, and the printed words above and below it say DRINK PLENTY OF FLUIDS AND FEEL BETTER SOON! The joke is that the advice is simple and the dog takes it very seriously. This is a card for anyone who wants to send a laugh along with their wishes.
Ships with a kraft envelope; envelope color in photo may vary.
The print at a glance
The artwork centers on a golden dog with a red collar, drawn in a soft, friendly cartoon style. The dog is turned away from you and trotting toward a white toilet with its lid up. Small motion lines around its body show it is moving with purpose, which makes the scene feel lively and a little silly.
The words sit in two lines, one above the picture and one below it. The top line reads DRINK PLENTY OF FLUIDS in black capitals, and the bottom line reads AND FEEL BETTER SOON! in the same style. The lettering is clean and easy to read, so the message lands at a glance.
The cream background keeps the focus on the dog and the bold printed text. Together, the dog's eager walk and the advice above it make the card feel cheerful rather than clinical. It is a playful way to say that you hope someone is feeling better.
Who it is for
You will want this card for someone who is currently unwell and could use a bit of humor. A friend stuck on the couch with a cold, a family member recovering from a procedure, or a coworker who has been out sick will all appreciate the joke. The dog and the simple advice make it easy to share with people of many ages.
It also suits people who enjoy dog-themed gifts. If the recipient loves dogs, they will likely smile at the golden pup and its determined trip to the bathroom. The message is gentle, so it works well for someone who likes a little teasing without any harsh edges.
This card fits anyone who wants to keep a sick friend's spirits up. Choose it when a plain get well card feels too quiet, and you want something that will make the person laugh while they rest.
Occasions to use it
The most natural moment to send this card is when someone comes down with a cold, flu, or stomach bug. Include a note with a few words of your own, and it becomes a thoughtful package. It is also a good fit for a recovery after a minor surgery or a hospital stay, when the recipient needs both rest and cheer.
You can also tuck it into a care basket with tea, soup, or a favorite snack. The reminder to drink plenty of fluids pairs well with a warm drink and a cozy blanket. Mail it ahead of a visit so the person has something to open while they recover.
The card is available in the Greeting Card style and the Natural color, so it is ready to send whenever a friend or relative needs a lighthearted boost.
