Drink Plenty Get Well Card shows a yellow dog bending over a white toilet, and the printed words tell the reader to drink plenty of fluids and feel better soon. The cheeky scene works because the dog is doing something unexpected, and that surprise makes the wish feel warm rather than stiff. It is made for anyone who has a dog-loving friend and a good sense of humor about being under the weather.
Ships with a kraft envelope; envelope color in photo may vary.
A closer look at the print
The yellow dog stands with its back legs planted and its front half bent over a white toilet bowl. Its short tail is raised and drawn with motion lines that suggest a wag. A thin red collar sits around its neck, which makes the dog look well cared for even while it is up to mischief.
The toilet is simple and clean, with a lifted lid and a tank behind it, and a faint shadow sits on the floor beneath both figures. The printed words run in black italic lettering above and below the scene, reading DRINK PLENTY OF FLUIDS and AND FEEL BETTER SOON. The contrast between the cheerful dog and the blunt instruction gives the card its humor.
Who will love it
Dog lovers tend to notice the collar and the wagging tail first, then laugh when they read the line about fluids. Friends who have been sick and needed to drink water all day will recognize the joke right away. It also works for someone who likes a gentle prank without being unkind.
You might send it to a friend who is stuck on the couch with a stomach bug, or to a coworker who needs a reason to smile after a bad week. Drink Plenty Get Well Card gives you a quick way to say you hope they feel better without a long speech.
