The design in detail

The bright THANK YOU sits in the center of the card, with its letters in rainbow shades of yellow, orange, green, blue and pink. Above it, a rainbow arcs between two smiling clouds, and a sun with a friendly face peeks in from the upper right. Down the left side, a green book grins, and a red apple sits beside a smiling yellow pencil at the bottom. A red heart with a sly face and a yellow star with rosy cheeks round out the scene, while a potted plant with a cheerful face sits in the lower right corner. Small sparkles scattered across the white background give the whole card a light, playful feel. Below the icons, the message FOR BEING AN IMPORTANT PART OF MY STORY. appears in bold dark letters, set in three short lines that read clearly at a glance. Every element belongs to the classroom world, from the book and the pencil to the apple and the plant, so the card reads as a school thank you right away.

When it gets used

This card suits a teacher, a school librarian, a classroom aide or a nursery worker who has spent the year helping children learn and feel safe. Many people notice the smiling icons first, then read the line about being part of a story.
