Colorful Festive House Illustration Card shows a bold red Congrats above a golden On Your New, with HOME spelled out in large teal letters. The words say that a new place is worth celebrating, and they land with anyone who has just turned a set of keys into a front door. The card lifts the mood without needing a long note, which is why it fits so many moves.
Ships with a kraft envelope; envelope color in photo may vary.
A closer look at the print
The top of the card is framed by a row of triangular bunting in yellow, red, green and blue, each flag with its own small pattern. Below it, the word Congrats is written in a loose brush script in red, so it looks hand-lettered and lively. The line On Your New sits beneath it in a sturdier golden face that balances the script. Teal HOME fills the bottom half in tall block capitals, and its O is swapped for a sketched house with a pitched roof, a chimney, a door and one window. Two party poppers stand on either side of the house with yellow and red streamers spilling out, and loose confetti dots float around the whole arrangement. A band of multicolored confetti sprinkles along the bottom edge to finish the scene. Every element is drawn in flat, cheerful colors on a clean white field, so the message is easy to read at a glance.
Who will love it
The people who notice this card first are the ones who just moved in, along with the friends and family who helped carry boxes up the stairs. A first-time buyer will recognize the teal house as their own front door, and a renter celebrating a fresh lease will feel the same spark. You can slip it in with a housewarming gift basket, or sign it at the table while everyone is still unpacking. It also works for a relative who has moved closer to home after years away, because the picture of a warm house says welcome without any extra words.
Occasions and picks
This card suits a housewarming party, a closing day, a move-in weekend or a first apartment milestone. Tuck it beside a plant or a bottle of wine when you drop off a gift, or mail it ahead so it arrives before the boxes do. It comes in the Greeting Card style and in the Natural color option, so the paper keeps its clean white look for any card collection.
- What does the lettering in the middle of the card say?
- The card reads Congrats on Your New Home. The word Congrats is in red script at the top, the words On Your New sit in gold capitals below it, and HOME is spelled in tall teal letters with a sketched house standing in place of the O. The message is a simple celebration of a fresh start in a new place, so it works without needing an added note.
- Who is this card best suited for?
- It suits anyone who has just moved, including first-time buyers, renters signing a new lease and relatives returning home after time away. The house drawing makes the message clear to people who feel the move is a big deal, while the bright bunting and confetti keep the tone playful rather than formal.
- What makes this card different from other housewarming designs?
- Many housewarming cards use a plain house outline or a sentimental scene. This one sets a hand-drawn house inside the word HOME and frames it with party poppers, bunting and confetti. The result feels like a party invitation for the new place, which makes it a good match for a lively gathering rather than a quiet visit.
