Artwork and lettering
A rectangular concrete block sits firmly among low-lying green plants, acting as a permanent feature in the landscape. Painted directly onto the gray surface is a stylized yellow scallop shell positioned above a bold arrow pointing toward the left. The paint appears slightly textured and worn, suggesting it has been exposed to the elements and footsteps over time. This specific combination of shapes belongs to the tradition of long-distance footpaths where such markers are essential for keeping travelers on course. The contrast between the organic greenery and the industrial stone highlights how human guidance intersects with nature.
