Thanks for Guidance Card shows a bold orange “Thank you” over a bright purple field, and the rainbow lines beneath it say what someone gave you. Each line names one thing, from listening to encouragement, and the closing words, “And for being such an important part of my story!”, call that person a lasting presence. It is made for anyone who has steered you through a hard stretch and deserves to hear it plainly.
Ships with a kraft envelope; envelope color in photo may vary.
What the print says
The largest element is the words “Thank you,” set in thick orange script with a white outline that makes them pop off the purple background. Beneath them, five short lines run in different colors: cyan for listening, orange for guidance, red for inspiration, green for encouragement and purple for being here. Each line starts with “for,” so the list reads like a row of separate thanks stacked one above another. Below that, the final two lines shift to yellow and light blue and state the closing sentiment about being part of someone’s story.
Around the text, small decorations drift through the design. A cluster of yellow stars and sparkle marks sits near the top, while hearts in red, yellow, purple and outline style float along the right side. A few green swirls and a pale pink sparkle add motion, and a large looping heart curls in the lower corner. Together they keep the layout cheerful without crowding the words, and the rainbow palette gives every line its own voice.
Who sees themselves in it
The people who notice this card first are usually the ones who did the guiding. A teacher reading a list of listening, guidance and encouragement will recognize a year of quiet work, and a mentor will see the thread of advice that carried someone forward. Friends who have been a steady presence also fit the list, even when they never held an official role.
This thanks works well when you want to name the qualities rather than just say thank you. Someone who has spent evenings helping you revise a plan, or who kept you going through a difficult term, will see those moments in the lines. It is a good match for a student who wants to show a teacher what that year meant, or for a person who wants to acknowledge a mentor after a long stretch of support.
Meant as a gift
This card suits end of school year gifts, graduation week, or a thank you after a mentorship has reached a milestone. It also fits a moment when a colleague or coach has helped you through a project and you want to say so in writing. The bright lines make it easy to pick out in a stack of cards, so it arrives looking cheerful before anyone opens it.
A good moment to enjoy it is when the recipient reads the list out loud, one color at a time. Many people will pause on the line about being an important part of your story, and that pause is often the gift itself. It is a simple way to close a chapter and leave the door open for the next one.
- What do the printed lines on this card mean?
- The lines name five kinds of help: listening, guidance, inspiration, encouragement and being here. Each is a separate thanks, and the closing lines say the person has been an important part of your story. Read together, they describe someone who listened, steered and stayed close through a hard stretch.
- Who is this thank you card best suited for?
- It fits a teacher, mentor, coach or friend who has guided you through a season of work or change. Because the lines focus on listening and encouragement rather than a job title, it also suits someone who acted as a steady presence. The rainbow lettering keeps the tone warm and upbeat for any of them.
- When is a good time to give this card?
- End of the school year, graduation week and the final session of a mentoring program are natural moments. It also works after a project where a colleague or coach offered steady advice. Give it when the thanks has been building for a while, so the list of named kindnesses feels earned and specific.
