Summer Vacation Card: Sending You Sunshine Wishes

Summer Vacation Card shows SENDING YOU SUNSHINE across the top, with a cheerful cartoon sun, a striped umbrella, a soft-serve cone and a beach towel below it. The line works like a warm wave from someone who has not forgotten you. It is for friends and family who could use a little summer glow on a dull day.

Ships with a kraft envelope; envelope color in photo may vary.

How the design is put together

A smiling sun sits at the center, with short rays drawn around its edge. To the left, a red and white striped umbrella tilts over a thin pole, and to the right a soft-serve ice cream cone holds a swirl of white on top. Below the sun, a striped turquoise beach towel lies flat with fringed ends. Every object wears the same simple face with two dots and a small smile, so the whole scene feels like one friendly family of characters. The lettering is a rounded, hand-drawn style in black capitals, centered above the scene. It reads clearly and sits lightly on the warm yellow background. The objects together suggest a day at the beach, the kind of afternoon most people remember fondly. The picture stays playful rather than busy, so the eye moves from the words to the sun and then to the umbrella, cone and towel.

Who will enjoy it

This card suits someone who loves summer, sunny weather or a relaxed day at the shore. The friends and relatives who will feel it most are the ones you think of when the weather turns gray. A coworker stuck in a long winter, a sister recovering from a cold, or a grandparent who misses the beach may each smile at the scene. When you want to tell someone SENDING YOU SUNSHINE in a single glance, this card does the job without a long speech. It is also a good pick for the friend who always plans the next beach trip and will recognize the umbrella and towel right away.

For gifting

Summer Vacation Card works well for a get-well wish, a pick-me-up after a hard week, or a simple hello to someone you have not seen in a while. It can accompany a small treat, like a cold drink or a snack, sent with a note. Many people keep a card like this on the fridge or the desk, where the bright yellow catches the eye on a gloomy morning. You can write a few lines inside about a favorite memory from a day at the water, and the card becomes a little souvenir of that time together.
