Speedy Recovery Cat Card: Black Cat on a Scooter

Speedy Recovery Cat Card shows a black cat cruising on a cream scooter, a basket of white blossoms riding behind it. The printed words wish you a speedy recovery in blunt, bold capitals, and the cat's wide yellow eyes make the wish feel like a wink. It is for the friend who needs a lift while resting at home.

Ships with a kraft envelope; envelope color in photo may vary.

The artwork explained

A plump black cat sits upright on a pale cream scooter with teal accents, its paws resting on the handlebars. Behind it, a woven basket overflows with small white blossoms. The scooter has rounded fenders, a single headlight and a small side mirror, giving the picture a relaxed, vintage feel. The lettering is set in two weights: a thin line reading WISHING YOU A and a heavy block reading SPEEDY and RECOVERY. The cat's expression is calm and slightly skeptical, as if it is judging the traffic. Together the scooter, the flowers and the cat make a small scene of someone already heading out to see you.

Who it suits best

Cat lovers will notice the black cat first, then the scooter and the basket. You can send this to a friend who has been told to rest after an illness or procedure, a coworker returning from time off, or a relative who is tired of staying in bed. The message is kind but light, so it works in a group card too. The image also suits someone who enjoys retro scooters and bright blossoms.

When it fits

This card works well for a hospital visit or a note tucked into a care package. It is a thoughtful choice for a coworker's desk or a family member's bedside table. Give it with soup, a book or a small plant when you want the gesture to feel complete.
