What is printed on it
The main line runs across the card in a flowing sage green script, with “girl,” leaning into a comma and a small gold heart tucked near its top. Beneath it, YOU ARE A sits in a clean gray-green sans serif, followed by a heavy serif “badass.” that anchors the design. A soft brushed stroke of the same sage sits under the big word, and a second tiny gold heart rests on it. CONGRATULATIONS closes the layout in spaced capitals. Together the type reads as confident, modern and a little cheeky, the way a good cheer should sound.
Made for these people
You will find this card most useful for a friend who has just landed a promotion, a sister starting a new job, a coworker who finished a tough project or a boss lady who keeps pushing the team forward. They tend to notice the bold word first and smile before they reach the rest of the line. The exact phrase is what makes it work: “girl, you are a badass.” turns a routine congratulations into something a person will remember. It fits moments where a plain thank-you would feel too quiet.
A gift idea that fits
This is a natural pick for a graduation, a new role, a first day at a fresh job or any achievement that deserves a little noise. Hand it over with a coffee or a small bouquet, and let the honest line do the talking. Many people keep a card like this on a desk or a shelf for weeks, which turns the celebration into a daily reminder of what they pulled off.
- What does the wording on this card say?
- The card says “girl, you are a badass.” in sage green script, with a bold serif “badass.” and CONGRATULATIONS in small spaced capitals below. The phrasing is playful and direct, so it reads as a warm cheer for someone who has achieved something. It is best for a win that calls for enthusiasm rather than a formal note.
- Who is this card best suited for?
- It suits a friend, sister, coworker or boss lady who has just reached a goal. The tone is bold but affectionate, so it fits people who enjoy a little humor in their celebrations. It works well for someone who would be embarrassed by a stiff, traditional congratulations card.
- When is a good time to send it?
- Send it after a promotion, a new job start, a graduation or a finished project that took real effort. The line is most meaningful right after the news, while the achievement still feels fresh. You can also tuck it into a gift bag alongside a small treat for an extra lift.
