A closer look at the print
The sloth sits in a teal hammock strung between two wooden poles, its arms tucked behind its head and dark sunglasses pushed onto its face. A large yellow sun glows behind it, with short rays fanning out to the edges of the scene. The bold type across the top reads CONGRATULATIONS ON EXTENDING YOUR WEEKEND in black and teal, and a red ribbon banner carries BY 5 DAYS. HAPPY RETIREMENT sits along the bottom in strong black capitals. The clean shapes and warm colors give the whole picture a relaxed, sunny feel, and every element supports the idea of a long, unhurried break.
Who will love it
You will notice the sunglasses and the hammock first, then the playful number in the banner. Retirees who have been looking forward to slower mornings will recognize the mood right away. Use this retirement weekend card when a coworker finally clears their desk, when a parent steps away from a long career, or when a friend has earned a few months of doing nothing. It also works for a goodbye lunch, where everyone can laugh at the idea that the weekend simply got longer.

Retirement is the obvious occasion, but this card also suits a last day at the office or a surprise party for someone who has been counting down the years. Pair it with a small gift like a good book, a cozy blanket or a bottle of something cold for the first afternoon off. The design is offered as a greeting card in natural, and it makes a fun companion to a handwritten note inside.
