Pug Lover Card with Watercolor Rainbow Paws

Pug Lover Card shows a painted pug gazing up from a field of rainbow paw prints and hearts, and the picture alone says what dog people already know. A pug face can brighten a whole day. This is for anyone with a pug at home or a pug photo saved on their phone.

Ships with a kraft envelope; envelope color in photo may vary.

Behind the design

The pug fills the front of the card, its tan fur shaded in soft watercolor washes and its dark muzzle drawn with deep, wet strokes. Big round eyes look up at you from beneath wrinkled brows, giving the dog an expression that seems both serious and a little hopeful. Around the pug, paw prints and hearts scatter across the white background in rainbow tones, blue and teal on the left, green and yellow near the top, red and pink on the right. The paw prints are shaped with clean rounded toes, and each heart is tinted in its own gradient so no two look identical. The pug sits low in the frame, as if it has just trotted up to see what you are holding. Together the parts make a bright, friendly scene that reads at a glance.

Who gets the joke

Pug owners will notice the face first, the squashed nose and the look of mild concern that pugs wear so well. They know that tiny body can be full of opinions, and the rainbow paw prints feel like a love letter to every walk they have taken with their dog. This card fits a dog mom or dad who talks about their pug like a member of the family, or a friend who sends photos of their dog every single day. You can send it when a friend has just adopted a pug, or when your sister finally admits her dog runs the house. The card needs no caption, so the recipient supplies the story themselves.

Gift and choice

This Pug Lover Card works well as a birthday card, a housewarming note for a new puppy, or a simple thank you for someone who watches your dog while you travel. Because the design is soft and colorful, it also suits a gentle note for someone who has lost a dog, when a warm picture says more than words. The card comes in the Greeting Card style, so it can go straight into a mailbox or onto a desk. Pick it when you want a pug to say hello for you.
