Police Congratulations Card shows the word CONGRATULATIONS in bold white capitals across a thin blue stripe on a black field. The stripe carries the message, a nod to the thin blue line that many officers recognize as a symbol of their work, and it says congratulations to anyone who has earned it. It makes you feel that the card was built for the people who wear the uniform, and it suits a graduate, a newly sworn officer, or a colleague moving up the ranks.
Ships with a kraft envelope; envelope color in photo may vary.
Artwork and lettering
The main subject is a single horizontal band of bright blue running across the center of a solid black field. The word CONGRATULATIONS sits inside the band in tall, narrow white capitals that read clearly from across a room. The black above and below the stripe gives the blue room to stand out. The lettering is plain and sturdy, with no decoration, so the eye goes straight to the word. The design belongs to the world of law enforcement, where the thin blue line is a familiar symbol of service and of the people who keep watch.
Made for this crowd
The people who notice this card first are officers, recruits, and the families who stand beside them. A new graduate of the academy will recognize the stripe right away. A spouse or parent may feel the pride of seeing a loved one reach a goal. You might tuck it into a card for a daughter who just passed her exams, or hand one to a partner who finally made sergeant. Police Congratulations Card speaks to the whole crowd of people who share that long road.
