Pastel Watercolor Cottage Card greets your new home with a wish written right across the top: New Home, New Adventures, New Memories. The printed words promise a fresh start, and the storybook house beneath them makes that start feel cozy. It is made for anyone who has just unpacked their first box.
Ships with a kraft envelope; envelope color in photo may vary.
Behind the design
A small cottage with a rounded, pink-tiled roof sits at the center of the card, its walls washed in soft yellow and green. The pink door and round windows look like they were painted by hand, with loose edges that soften the outline. Clouds in pale pink, yellow, and blue drift behind the roof. Wildflowers and grass rise up the hill beneath it. The three lines of lettering above are each a different color, orange, teal, and pink, and they sit neatly above the house. Together they read like a picture from a children's book, gentle and bright, with a quiet hill in the foreground.
Who gets the joke
You will notice the cottage first, and then the words. The design suits someone who has just bought their first house, a friend who finally moved out of a shared apartment, or a parent settling into a new place after years of change. Anyone who has ever dreamed about a little house on a hill will feel the card was drawn for them. You can use this card when a friend has a cozy new space and you want to say the house suits them.
Gift and choice
This card is a natural fit for a housewarming party, when guests arrive with plants and welcome wishes. It also works for a move-in weekend, a first night in a new home, or a note tucked into a moving box. Pastel Watercolor Cottage Card is available as a greeting card, so it pairs well with a small gift such as a candle or a pot of herbs. Set it on a shelf in the new kitchen, and let the wish sit there while the boxes come unpacked.
- What do the three colored lines say?
- The three colored lines read New Home, New Adventures, New Memories. They sit above the cottage in orange, teal, and pink. Together they frame the card as a welcome into a fresh chapter, with a wish that the new house will fill up with good days and shared stories.
- Who is this housewarming card best for?
- This card suits anyone starting over in a new place, such as a couple buying their first house, a friend moving into an apartment, or a family settling into a new neighborhood. The gentle cottage and soft colors suit a mom, a neighbor, or a close friend who loves cozy things.
- What makes this cottage different from other new home cards?
- This cottage has a rounded, pink-tiled roof, a pastel yellow wall, and a hill covered in painted wildflowers. The watercolor style is loose and dreamy rather than sharp, so the house looks like a storybook home. The pink and yellow palette also sets it apart from heavier, darker house designs.
