New American Citizen Card shows “CONGRATULATIONS” and “New American!” across a striped flag, with a soaring eagle and bursts of fireworks above. The message speaks directly to the moment someone becomes a US citizen, and it does so with warmth. You can send this card to mark a naturalization ceremony or any milestone that calls for a little red, white and blue.
Ships with a kraft envelope; envelope color in photo may vary.
How the design is put together
A flag fills the background, with its red and white stripes brushed across the card in loose, painterly strokes. In the upper left, white stars sit on a deep blue field that fades into the stripes below. The eye lands first on the bold black capitals of “CONGRATULATIONS,” and then on the flowing script of “New American!” just beneath them.
In the upper right, a blue eagle with red-tinged edges swoops downward with its wings spread wide. Below the lettering, three bursts of fireworks rise across the stripes, one in orange and two in light and deep blue. Their thin, spiky lines give the card energy without crowding the words. Together the flag, the eagle and the fireworks make one clear picture of a national celebration.
Who will enjoy it
The people who get the most from this card are those who have just taken the oath and become US citizens. They will notice the flag and the printed words right away, and they will know the moment being marked. Friends, family members and coworkers who helped them along the way will also feel the card was chosen with care.
You might send it to a neighbor after a naturalization ceremony, or tuck it into a welcome package for a newly sworn-in colleague. It also suits a family gathering where a new citizen is being celebrated.
For gifting
A naturalization ceremony is the natural occasion for this card, and a note inside can recall the day. It also works for a family party, a Fourth of July gathering or any dinner where a new citizen is honored. Hand it over with a handshake or a hug, and let the bold words do the rest.
- What do the printed words on this card mean?
- The words “CONGRATULATIONS” and “New American!” celebrate someone who has just become a US citizen. - Who is this New American Citizen Card best for?
- It suits anyone who has recently completed the naturalization process and taken the oath. Family members, close friends and coworkers who want to recognize that achievement will also appreciate it. The flag, eagle and fireworks make the patriotic theme obvious, so the recipient will understand right away why you chose it.
