Laughter Best Medicine Card shows the printed words some say LAUGHTER is the best medicine, and the words make a fun promise to anyone who needs a lift. The line plays on an old saying about how a good laugh can help, so the joke lands with a warm grin.
Ships with a kraft envelope; envelope color in photo may vary.
The artwork explained
The big word LAUGHTER fills the center of the card, with each letter in a different bright color. Pink, blue, green and orange shapes give the lettering a cut paper feel. Above and below it, the black lettering reads some say and is the best medicine in a friendly hand. A small orange face with closed eyes and tears of joy sits near the bottom. On the envelope, a pill bottle with a bright orange cap and a label marked better soon adds a second layer of humor.
Who it suits best
People who love a good joke will notice the bright letters first, then grin at the laughing face. This card suits someone who keeps their spirits up with humor, and it fits a friend who would rather laugh through a bad day than sit and sulk. Send it to a coworker who is back at the office after a cold, or to a relative who is resting at home with a sprained ankle.
When it fits
This card is a natural choice when someone needs a little cheer during recovery. Slip it into the mail after a hospital stay, or hand it over with a bag of tea and a favorite treat. You can also bring it along to a bedside visit, where the laughing face and the pill bottle can start a conversation. It works well at any moment when a silly reminder that laughter helps is exactly what the day calls for.
- What does the pill bottle on the envelope add to the joke?
- The pill bottle on the envelope carries the same playful idea as the front. Its label reads better soon, and a pair of colorful capsules sit beside it. Together with the message some say LAUGHTER is the best medicine, it turns the card into a lighthearted pretend prescription that makes the recipient smile before they open it.
- Who will get the most out of a card like this?
- Someone with a good sense of humor will get the most out of this card. It suits a friend who enjoys puns and silly wordplay, or a relative who handles illness with a joke. Because the message is gentle and bright, it also works for people who are not especially close to you but still deserve a warm wish.
- How can you pair this card with a small gift?
- You can pair this card with something that feeds the laughter, such as a funny book, a comedy movie, or a box of their favorite snacks. The laughing face and the pill bottle both hint at the idea of a remedy, so a small treat that makes them smile fits the theme well and gives the card a bit more warmth.
