Housewarming Hedgehog Card: A Lovely New Home Greeting

Housewarming Hedgehog Card shows “A lovely New Home” written above a happy hedgehog on a swing, and those simple words say exactly what a new place deserves. The hedgehog looks delighted to be there, which makes the line feel like a warm welcome rather than a formal greeting. It is made for anyone who has just unpacked their boxes and wants a cheerful sign that the space is ready to be loved.

Ships with a kraft envelope; envelope color in photo may vary.

What the print says

The hedgehog sits on a wooden swing hung from a thick branch, its small feet kicking in the air and its face tilted upward. A tree trunk fills the right side of the picture, with a round window and an arched doorway that has a Welcome sign hanging beside it. Roots curl across a meadow full of soft watercolor flowers in pink, red and yellow, and a blue dragonfly hovers near the swing. Every part of the scene looks like a place where someone would want to spend a lazy afternoon. The printed words are set in a clean, handwritten style above the swing, so they read clearly against the pale sky. Together the hedgehog, the tree house and the meadow tell a story of settling into a home that feels safe and slightly magical.

Who sees themselves in it

This card suits friends who have just bought their first apartment, relatives who finally moved to a new town, or neighbors who are starting over after a long search for the right place. The hedgehog's cheerful pose is the first thing people notice, and it tells them the card is meant to make them smile. Anyone who loves gardens, cozy corners or quiet afternoons outdoors will feel the warmth of the watercolor meadow. Use this housewarming hedgehog card when a friend invites you to see their new kitchen, or tuck it into a box of sweet treats for a neighbor who just moved in down the street.

Meant as a gift

This card is a good choice for housewarming parties, when guests arrive with plants or bottles and want something to write a note on. It also works well for moving-day surprises, when the card waits on the kitchen counter until the last box is unpacked. Available as a greeting card in natural tones, it slips easily into a gift bag or an envelope with a few lines of personal news. Read it aloud on the first evening in a new home, and let the hedgehog remind everyone that the place is already starting to feel like theirs.
