The rhyme that follows tells them that school is an exciting adventure and that they are ready to start, which makes it feel like a personal note. It is made for the young student stepping into a new year, and for the parent, grandparent or friend who wants to cheer them on.

A closer look at the print
A crescent moon rests on a pastel sky, scattered with small stars and soft clouds in lavender, pink and mint. Near the bottom, a backpack with a star pattern sits beside a stack of books, a telescope on a tripod and a water bottle. Sneakers, pencils in a cup, an eraser and small paper clips fill the scene, so every object points to school life. The lettering is bold and rounded, with the main line in deep plum and the closing line in a bright pink. Together, the moon and the supplies suggest a student who is curious about the sky and ready to learn.
Who will love it
The first people to notice are usually the young reader, who spots the backpack and the telescope right away, and the adult choosing the card. A child who loves stars or reading will feel the card was picked for them. Parents and grandparents often send a Good Luck School Card the night before a first day, tucking it into a lunch box or backpack. Teachers may also pick it for a student who is nervous about a new class.
Occasions and picks
The card suits a first day of school, the start of a new grade, or a first day at a new school after a move. It also works as a small note for a child starting at a new class. The card is available in the Greeting Card style, in its natural color version, so it is easy to choose for any young student on your list.
