Goldfish Housewarming Card for a New Home

Goldfish Housewarming Card says what it means right away: Happy New Home is printed in black script above an orange goldfish swimming past a tiny cottage. The line is a warm wish for someone settling into a fresh place, and it lands for anyone who has just unpacked their first boxes. It is the kind of card that makes a new front door feel welcoming.

Ships with a kraft envelope; envelope color in photo may vary.

A closer look at the print

The orange goldfish is the star of the design, shown in profile with a big round eye and a cheerful curve to its body. It swims inside a clear, rounded glass bowl with a pale blue tint and a thin rim along the top. Thin green plants rise from the base on both sides, framing the fish like a tiny aquarium garden.

At the bottom of the bowl sits a small cream-colored cottage with a red roof and a row of windows, resting on a sandy patch. The fish and the house share the same warm palette, so the scene feels cozy rather than busy. Above the bowl, the words Happy New Home appear in two styles: a flowing handwritten Happy and bold capitals for NEW HOME. The contrast gives the greeting a lively rhythm. Together these details tell a small story about moving into a snug new space.

Who will love it

You will notice the goldfish first, then the little house, and then you will smile at the idea of a fish finally having its own home. This is a card for people who love a clever, gentle joke. Friends who have just moved into an apartment, couples buying a first house, and relatives who have had a rough year of moving will all recognize themselves in the scene.

It also works well for someone who loves pets, since fish owners will appreciate the aquarium setup. Send the Goldfish Housewarming Card to a coworker who just relocated, to a sibling who finally found a place, or to a neighbor you are excited to have nearby. The humor is light, so it reads warmly in almost any relationship.

Occasions and picks

This card fits housewarming parties, moving day, and the first few weeks after someone unpacks the last box. Tuck it into a gift bag with a houseplant, a candle, or a set of coasters for the new kitchen table. It also pairs nicely with a bottle of something bubbly for a toast in the new living room.

The card is offered in one natural color, so it blends easily with any gift wrap or ribbon. Choose it for a friend's first apartment, a family's first home, or anyone who deserves a bright, playful welcome.
