Get Well Soon Cow Card shows a highland cow in yellow wellies standing under a rainbow umbrella, with a small bluebird perched on top. The printed words sit above the scene in thin gray script. How the design is put together
The highland cow fills the center of the card, its shaggy brown coat drawn in loose watercolor strokes that show every fringe of hair. Its wide cream horns reach out on either side, and its large eyes look straight at you with a calm expression. Below, it wears a pair of bright yellow wellies planted on a small patch of green grass.
Above the cow, a rainbow umbrella arches over its head in red, orange, yellow, green and blue. The umbrella's scalloped edge is softly painted, and a small bluebird sits on its top, adding a splash of color. Pale blue watercolor spatters drift around the figure like light rain, tying the scene together.
The lettering Get Well Soon is set in a delicate gray script at the top of the card, leaving plenty of white space around the artwork. The overall look is soft and hand-painted, and the combination of muddy boots, a bright umbrella and a patient cow gives the picture a relaxed, countryside feel.
Who will enjoy it
Fans of highland cows will notice the shaggy coat and horns right away, and anyone who loves farm animals will enjoy the wellies and the umbrella. The bluebird is a small detail that rewards a second look.
This card suits a friend stuck at home with a cold, a relative recovering from a procedure, or a coworker who has been away from the office. You might send it by post so it arrives on a dull afternoon, when a bit of color brightens the mood.
For gifting
This card is a thoughtful pick for anyone who is unwell, and it sits nicely beside a cup of tea or a small box of tissues. Tuck it inside a care package or hand it over with a flower on a quiet visit.
It is also easy to keep on a windowsill or a fridge door, where the rainbow umbrella can remind the recipient that brighter days are coming. The Greeting Card style and the natural color option keep it simple to choose.
