Artwork and lettering
A tall wooden post stands in a patch of green grass, with six painted signs stacked on top of one another. Each sign is a different shade of green or brown, and they angle left and right like real trail markers. The lettering is white and sits neatly inside each board, with the longer phrases set in two lines. Small clovers grow around the base of the post, and a few ladybugs and a fly add quiet detail near the signs. The main words are GESUNDHEIT, SEELE BAUMELN LASSEN, REISEN, HARMONIE, ZEIT FÜR SCHÖNE DINGE and NEUES ENTDECKEN, and they read like a list of destinations on a hiking route. At the bottom, ZUM RUHESTAND appears in spaced green capitals, anchoring the whole picture.
Made for this crowd
People who are stepping away from full-time work will notice the signposts first, because the picture looks like a map of the years ahead. Friends and family who know your love of walks and long afternoons will see the clovers and immediately connect them to a slower life. When you hand over this Gesundheit Seele Baumeln Lassen Card, the recipient reads each sign one by one and recognizes a plan they have been dreaming about. It works well for someone who has spent decades in an office and is ready for rest, travel and fresh hobbies.
Moments it suits
The card fits a farewell gathering, a small team lunch or a quiet family dinner where everyone wants to mark the change. Slip it into a gift bag with a book or a travel guide, and the signposts give the recipient a fun reason to open it. You can also keep it on a desk or kitchen shelf for a few weeks, so the wishes stay in view as the new routine begins.
- What do the signs on this card say?
- The signs read Gesundheit, Seele Baumeln Lassen, Reisen, Harmonie, Zeit für schöne Dinge and Neues entdecken. Together they name health, rest for the soul, travel, balance, time for lovely things and discovering something new. The bottom line says Zum Ruhestand, which means for retirement, so the list works as a set of wishes for the next stage of life.
- Who will appreciate this card?
- Anyone who loves walks, travel or a slower daily rhythm will enjoy the signpost design. It suits a colleague or relative who is finally stepping away from work and who has been talking about trips or hobbies. People who read German will get every wish right away, while others will still enjoy the clovers, ladybugs and wooden signs.
- When is the best time to give it?
- Give it on a last workday, at a farewell lunch, or on the first weekend after someone retires. The message suits a moment of transition, when the recipient is looking ahead. You can also send it by mail a few days before the big day so it arrives while they are still planning their first weeks off.
