It is made for anyone who loves puppies or wants a gentle card for a new family.

Artwork and lettering
A white and black spotted puppy sits at the center of the card, looking up with big brown eyes and a blue baby shoe dangling from its mouth. Beside it, a small yellow duck with a pink ribbon sits on wheels, and a few tiny pink hearts float above. Stacked wooden blocks show blue letters, including a W, and the puppy rests among them as if the blocks were its favorite toys.
The lettering is bold blue with a rounded, friendly shape, and the top line reads A New Baby Boy! while Congratulations runs along the bottom edge. The whole scene feels like a nursery picture, with soft colors and a playful mood that suits a baby's room.
Made for this crowd
Families expecting a son will notice the blue shoes and the lettering first, while dog lovers will notice the puppy and its spots. You can send it to a friend who has just had a boy or to a coworker who keeps talking about a new nephew.
When a baby arrives, cards like this one are often placed on a mantel or tucked into a nursery shelf, so the friendly puppy stays in view for weeks. Grandparents and close friends often keep these cards with the baby's first photos.
Moments it suits
This card fits a baby shower, a hospital visit or a note sent after the birth announcement. It also works well for a family who is bringing home their first son and wants a card that feels sweet rather than formal.
Once the card is open, the verse inside gives you something to read aloud, and the puppy keeps the mood light. Pair it with a small rattle or a onesie for a thoughtful gift.
- What does the verse inside say?
- The verse inside talks about a new little boy growing and learning with each new day. It describes him giggling, smiling and always ready to play, with new things to see and sweet, happy times waiting ahead. It reads well aloud at a shower or a welcome visit.
- Who is this card best for?
- This card suits anyone welcoming a baby boy, especially families who love puppies or dog lovers who want a playful picture. The spotted Dalmatian and blue shoes make it a good match for a nursery theme. It also fits friends and relatives who are celebrating a son.
- When is a good time to send it?
- Send this card at a baby shower, after a birth announcement, or during a hospital visit. The puppy and the wooden blocks make it especially fitting when a family is setting up a nursery. It also works as a congratulations note for a new son in your circle.
