Count Your Blessings Card says the words A Special Prayer Just For You across the top, then offers a line asking that you be able to count your blessings no matter what life brings. The words “Come rain or shine” and “May God's peace abide from within” close the verse, and they speak to anyone who needs reassurance that steadiness can come from inside. It is written for people who find comfort in faith and want to say so without many words.
Ships with a kraft envelope; envelope color in photo may vary.
The design in detail
A golden starfish sits in the upper left corner, with a small cream shell tucked beside it. The prayer runs down the center of a pale vertical panel framed by thin gold rules. Blue serif lettering carries most of the verse, while the word blessings appears in gold italic and God's in deep red script, so the eye lands on the two ideas that matter most. Lower right, a larger spiral shell and another starfish sit among faint leaves, all on a teal ground that fades softly toward the edges. The palette stays warm and natural, and the open space around the verse lets each line breathe.
When it gets used
People reach for a card like this when a friend is walking through a hard season, when a relative is recovering, or when someone has just lost a loved one and needs quiet words rather than long letters. The reader usually notices the prayer first, then the seashells that soften the message. In each case the card does its job in a single sitting, giving the recipient something to reread on a difficult morning or to keep on a nightstand for a few days.
Good occasions
Choose this card for a sympathy visit, a get-well note, or a thinking-of-you message sent through the mail. It also suits a faith-centered milestone when a short blessing is more fitting than a joke. You might tuck it into a care package or hand it over with a cup of tea and a few minutes to sit together. The Greeting Card style comes in the natural colorway shown here.
- What does the prayer on this card say?
- The prayer begins with a wish that you can count your blessings no matter what life brings. It continues with come rain or shine, through thick or thin, and closes with the hope that God's peace abides from within. The lines are short, so they are easy to reread during a hard week.
- Who is this card best suited for?
- This card suits someone who finds comfort in faith and is going through a difficult period. A friend facing a loss, a relative in recovery, or a coworker who has been carrying a heavy load would all recognize the gentle tone. It works best with a reader who appreciates scripture-inspired wording and quiet encouragement.
- What are good occasions to give it?
- Sympathy visits, get-well wishes, and simple thinking-of-you notes are the most common moments for this card. It is also a fitting gift when a friend is starting a new chapter and needs reassurance. Many people keep it close after the gathering ends, so it stays a reminder long after the day has passed.
