Cat Reading Newspaper Card: Life Is One Interruption After Another

Cat Reading Newspaper Card shows a tabby cat in glasses reading the news, and the printed line, Life... it's just one interruption after another!, tells you exactly how that reading is going. The cat's look says it has been pulled away from the page once too often. Use it to share a laugh with someone who knows that feeling well.

Ships with a kraft envelope; envelope color in photo may vary.

What the design shows

A striped tabby cat rests on a golden cushion that catches the warm light. Its front paws hold a folded newspaper open, and a pair of round wire glasses sits on its nose. The green eyes stare straight out of the frame with a half-annoyed focus. Behind the cat, the striped fabric of a second cushion adds depth and a cozy, lived-in feel. The printed words sit on a bright green strip along the bottom edge, so the eye moves from the cat to the line without effort. The whole scene reads like a cat that has settled in for a serious read and refuses to be bothered. It works well for anyone who loves the quiet of a newspaper and the small humor of an animal acting so human.

Who it was made for

Readers will notice the glasses and the newspaper first, then the grumpy look that follows. You can send this card to a friend who starts every morning with the paper and guards that routine. It also fits a coworker who keeps a closed door and a stack of reading, or a relative who always has one more thing to finish. Cat lovers will enjoy the tabby pattern and the attitude, and anyone who has tried to read a single page in a busy house will feel seen. The phrase Cat Reading Newspaper Card suits anyone who needs a gentle reminder that quiet time is worth protecting.

As a gift and every day

This card works for a birthday, a thank you for a long weekend of help, or a simple hello to someone who deserves a break. Slip it into a gift bag with a favorite magazine or a cup of tea so the reading moment feels complete. It also makes a fun note to stick on a fridge or a desk, where it can make someone smile on a hectic morning. Choose it when you want to say you understand the interruptions and still wish them well.
