The design piece by piece
A cream cat with orange patches sits on a slim green shelf, one front paw stretched toward a round sage vase. Yellow flowers and dark green leaves spill from the vase, and the cat's eyes are half closed in a smug, satisfied look. The shelf, vase and cat are drawn in clean outlines with soft flat color, so the scene reads at a glance. Above the picture, the words “Congratulations” appear in a soft green script, while “ON YOUR NEW HOME!” sits below in bold black capitals. The lettering carries the cheerful tone of a housewarming without shouting. Together the cat, flowers and lettering suggest a home where a pet is already settling in and making itself at home. It belongs to the world of cat owners who expect their companions to test every shelf.
Everyday moments
The first person to notice this card is usually the one who has already been told about the new apartment or house. They see the cat before they read the words, and the scene brings a smile before the message lands. Cat owners tend to recognize the exact moment a pet decides a vase needs testing. You can tuck this card into an envelope with a housewarming gift, or prop it on a kitchen counter where guests will see it. It also works for a friend who has just moved in with a cat and keeps sending photos of the animal on every new surface.
When you need a gift
This card fits a housewarming party, a first night in a new place or a note sent after moving day. It is a simple choice when you want to celebrate the move without a large gift. Pair it with a plant or a small candle, and the vase in the picture becomes a nice echo of the gift. It is also a good pick for someone who has just bought their first home and wants a reminder that the cat has already claimed the best view.
- What is the cat doing in this card?
- The cream cat with orange patches is reaching one front paw toward a sage vase of yellow flowers on a shelf. It looks pleased with itself, as if it has just discovered the most interesting object in the room. That small moment of mischief gives the card its humor and turns a simple housewarming wish into a picture a cat lover will recognize.
- Who will enjoy this new home card with a cat most?
- Cat owners who have watched a pet explore a new space will enjoy it most, especially friends who have just moved into a first apartment or house. The vase and flowers also suit someone who likes decorating and enjoys a bit of playful chaos on a shelf.
- How can you use this card at a housewarming?
- Give it with a plant or small candle, since the vase in the picture makes a nice echo of a gift. Write a short note inside about the cat, or set the card on the kitchen counter during the party so guests can spot the cat and start the conversation about their own pets.
