And So the Adventure Card for a New Baby Arrival

And So the Adventure Card shows a blue and cream hot air balloon, and the printed words “…and so the adventure begins…” tell the story of a brand new journey. Those words welcome a little one into the world with a sense of wonder. This card is made for anyone celebrating a new baby or a pregnancy, and you can send it when you want to say something warm and hopeful.

Ships with a kraft envelope; envelope color in photo may vary.

The design piece by piece

A blue and cream hot air balloon floats near the top left of the card, with a small string of pennant flags hanging below its basket. Soft clouds drift across a pale sky dotted with tiny gold stars. Below, a winding dirt path curves through green rolling hills toward distant blue mountains.

In the lower right corner, a worn suitcase with a straw hat sits beside the road, with a little yellow flag planted on top. A paper airplane and a dotted line trail across the sky, hinting at where the journey might lead. The lettering is a friendly, hand-drawn script that sits neatly beneath the scene.

Everyday moments

New parents often notice the balloon first, then the suitcase tucked by the path, which feels like a sweet nod to the road ahead. Friends who are expecting will spot the stars and the hills and feel the calm of the scene.

You might slip this card into a baby shower envelope or tuck it among cards on the mantel after a new arrival comes home. It is the kind of card people keep on a shelf for a while.

When you need a gift

This card suits a baby shower, a pregnancy announcement, or the first week a family brings a newborn home. It also works alongside a small gift for the nursery.

Sit down with the card and read the printed words aloud before you write a note inside. The balloon and the winding path give you an easy way to describe the adventure you wish them.
